Thanks for the feedback! I expect much more from you on this subject - so please - pound away - I need it.

BUT
Those aren't grids - those are OCX ListViews. Some forms, even, offer a tree on one pageframe tab and a listview on the other.

Download it - Install it - then uninstall it - you will see exactly what I mean. The inventory has the biggest "list" (and a tree on the other tab). Compare how they (OCX LVs) behave with how a grid behaves and you will see just how sexy them OCX classes are.

OCX are cached - not bound to a dbf. There is a big difference.

I am a follower of a philosophy espoused by Mr. Kuzoil ( I miss-spelled his name). He wrote some very influential anti-grid articles several years ago.
