the plug-in is not by Netscape , but I heard something like that 2

anyway the october 22nd issue of PC MAG has a "daul" between Nescape and MSIE - it is true that Netscapes get the editors chice but this is due to the fact the MS didn't have support for Unix or Mac or Windows 3.x
on every category MSIE came on top - this means that netscape can't afford IMHO to disregard ActiveX
also Netscape is an OLE server thus it directly falls in to the ActiveX
category
also if u read the file I sent u on MS & Jave u'd see they say something like that as well
