I want to query or seek a record number, that has a unique characteristic...

For example in a car dealer, I want to search or find a specific car that has a red color.

In the table I have a lot of record numers, but I categorize them by four different types. If someone could provide me some code in wich I could do a search. in wich I could find a record number of "some" type. Record numbers dont repeat themselves, only if they are different types.
