Hi,

We created some .NET components and are calling them in VFP via COM. We are having problems when calling a component that takes a VFP object as a parameter. If we call the .NET component with just a string parameter, no problems.

The problem manifests as follows... when the VFP exe finishes, we get the message, "TEST.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." This message is in one of those Windows "Send Error Report" "Don't Send" dialogs. The .NET component method works with the VFP object parameter. In fact, the whole exe functions no problems. It's just when it closes we get that dialog.

We've tried releasing all the object references. We've tried using SYS(3098). We've tested with very simple .NET components that do nothing but set a property so it's not some hairy .NET component.

Anybody have any other ideas?

TIA.
Bill
