I manged to get the printer working ok.
The model I have apparently is in defult page mode, and when I Copied the file down to LPT1 , it worked fine.

>No, you shouldn't have to set the printer into Eltron mode. It does need to support EPL2 (Eltron Programming Language version 2) and be in what's called Page Mode. With power off, does a 'dump mode' printout occur when you turn power on while holding down the label advance button? This will indicate how the printer is setup.
