He must have taken a couple courses to prepare himself as a CS rep, and he now speaks the King's English with no accent. <g>

Some company that I'm aware of, is planning on outsourcing 25 to 30 percent of their work to India in the next couple years. I asked if that was going to include customer service and client contact positions, and the reponse was, "No, everyone saw how well that worked for Dell." I do understand why companies want to do this and remain financially competitive, but there are definately some areas that should be left alone. CS and sales being two of them.

I used to love Dell. Not so much anymore.

>Exactly. Not only could I not understand him (primarily due to his very heavy accent), but after becoming irritated with me, he accused of me of not being able to speak English myself and he stated that he spoke correct English from England and if I were better educated then I would be able to understand him. He basically insinuated that Americans are uneducated and only speak and understand slang.

>>>No. What she said, in the vein of previous comments is that the tech was speaking the 'new & correct' English and she wasn't anymore.

>>Guess I'm not getting it. After rereading what Tracy posted, and her new posts, it seems to me that she could not understand him, and he became irritated with her. That was also my point.
