>>A Mongolian airplane leased to a Vietnamese carrier crashes exactly where the borders of Poland, Slovakia and Czech republic meet. It was insured by a Swiss insurance company. Crew is half Chinese half Indian. Passengers are mostly Australians and New Zealanders. Their travel agency is based in Malaysia. Who will bury the survivors?

>Of course this is a trick question. You don't bury the survivors.
That's why we play this on law students :). Just like any other trick question, you need a good distraction, and for this one it's "now you should know about these laws...". Specially when I played it on a pal of mine, who somehow mentioned the clash of jurisdictions, and the special regulation on that - to which I inserted "collision norms?". He was shocked - how would a mathematician know the proper legalese? And then, "speaking of which... assume a Mongolian plane". Hook, line and rod.
