I have not an extensive experience with imported data, but I still have
done a lot of things like that in dBase IV and FoxPro. I never
encountered the problem you describe. In the same time I'm not sure I
correctly understood it. Please send me (by e-mail) a sample of your ASCII data and
the database structure.
