This is one way that may work for you.
In you app set the path to include where the database is at, and open the tables without any "path" as a part of it (of course you have no contor over that in the forms, but that's not a problem). Now all you have to do is to change the path statement. When running a form VFP will first look at the directory listed in the form's data enviornment, if table is not found, then it will looke for the table in the path assigned by the SET PATH command.
