I've spoken at Whilfest (GLGDW), SWFox, EssentialFox, DevTeach, and Advisor DevCon and will be speaking at German DevCon next month. Of all those, only Advisor gave a small honorarium. None of the other conferences paid the speakers. However, in every case, the conference paid airfare, hotel, and either all or some meal costs.
