Often, and for no reason at all, things would just stop working. There was one siz month stretch where I was on the phone with them every couple of weeks for one problem or another. Either it was the entire web site was down or just database access. At one time I got http 500 errors (internal server error) that took them weeks to fix. Everytime I called them with a problem, it had to be "escalated to development" and that took at least two days to get a response back, then additional time to actually fix things. Bob Parsons claims of superb service are totally unfounded.

I finally dumped Go Daddy and moved to Brinkster. What a wonderful experience. I get notices when they are planning maintenance, etc., but must say that since they moved to a new data center earlier this year, I haven't had a single notice and can't think of a single problem in the couple of years I've been with them.
