I have a combo box with a m.name as the control source. The rowsource is an array of all customers. The clients can input the customers name in upper or lower case. This affects the sorting of the array elements to where the clients do not think that they are in correct sorted order. The clients want the sort order to disregard upper and lower case. So the array was filled with upper(name), but now the controlsource is not found in the array and it falls to the bottom of the combo. I tried using UPPER(m.name) in the controlsource, but the error said that it must be a varible.

Any ideas how to get the array to sort in an order that disregards upper and lower case, and/or how to get my controlsource to always be in UPPER.
