The problem with doing this is that the code in frxPreviewProxy::Show() won't override the .Top/.Left settings if the resource file has set these to something else.

Not quite. Because the default values of Top,Left is 0,0, if it sees "0" then it assumes you haven't overridden them at all and therefore uses the previous values in the resource file.

It might have been better if the preview had used a default Top,Left, etc of -1 rather than 0, because as it stands, it can't detect that you actually *want* to use 0,0.

Can you live with an override of 1,1?
