>>>For some time now I have been having a problem where when I copy a file from my PC to a CD, the date of the file on the CD is always changing to 01/01/1601. It is annoying as I have to explain to a customer why I am still in those dark ages <g>.
>>>
>>>Do you think that the problem is with the older version of the Roxio CD Creator I use to format the CD? Or is the problem with my PC or the CD/DVD ROM drive? I guess the only think I can do is to upgrade to the latest version of the Roxio software if there is a good chance that this would correct the problem.

I would *think* this would be a software problem. Nero is excellent - version 7 just came out a few days ago. You can get a free demo of version 6 here http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/nero-prog.php and try it & see if it fixes yer problem.
