>>>For some time now I have been having a problem where when I copy a file from my PC to a CD, the date of the file on the CD is always changing to 01/01/1601. It is annoying as I have to explain to a customer why I am still in those dark ages <g>.

>>>Do you think that the problem is with the older version of the Roxio CD Creator I use to format the CD? Or is the problem with my PC or the CD/DVD ROM drive? I guess the only think I can do is to upgrade to the latest version of the Roxio software if there is a good chance that this would correct the problem.

On W2K I had a lot of problems with various versions of ECDC including intermittent bugchecking of the whole PC while burning CDs. After getting tired of making coasters I switched to Nero, have had no problems since.
