>Actually, the reason I mention a Windows API is because I noticed in XP, you can search for a string in a ZIP-file. It appears that Windows XP provides the funcionality I have already painstakenly programmed in VFP using 3rd-Party stuff. What I'm actially doing is using RegEx to search sub-folders for files with a particular pattern, right now I have to unzip ZIPs into individual subfolders, scan the extracted files, and clean up. If XP can do this already, I'd like to use it.
O! Sorry. I didn't understood you well. But as Al said it is illigal :-) or you must buy a license from dynazip. But you an always do this with Google desktop, it has SDK. I not used it now so I couldn't be in help with it, but it supports search in archived files (not only ZIPs).
