Try using a different printer driver on those machines. The printer driver might optimize lines away or return wrong information about resolution so that the lines end up to be less than a pixel wide and don't get printed.

If this doesn't work, you might have success in finding a printer that produces bitmaps and then printing the bitmap onto the printer.
