Isn't it a small seaside town? I read about the battle of Hastings numerous times (is it one and the same?). Caption Hastings of the Hercule Poirot mysteries... :o)

>>I only to get see a few British shows and they are always past seasons because I view them on PBS. I don't have satellite tv or else I would be able to see newer ones. Right now I watch Are you Being Served, various British mysteries on Masterpiece Theatre (Inspector Morse, Hercule Poirot, Adam Dalgliesh, Inspector Lynley, Foyles War, Sherlock Holmes, etc - I've read most of the books already so I know the plots but I still watch), Keeping Up Appearances, As Time Goes By, Waiting for God, Last of the Summer Wine, and Rosemary and Thyme. There were a couple of others I liked, such as The vicar of Dibley and BallyKissangel.

>Foyles War is filmed in a town very near to me: Hastings - you may have heard of it? :-)
