SednaX was my idea and it is focused on having the community have a more formal and organized way of contributing and enhancing add-on and existing components for VFP, ones we may not be updating for XSource.zip and things we do not plan to do in Sedna, etc. The main Microsoft involvement is to educate on what we are and aren't doing for Sedna and to help identify what might be good to prioritize on for SednaX. But no direct involement, for example, I'm a member of the SednaX project on CodeGallery but not an administrator (nor a decision maker). SednaX is a pure community driven effort.
