I've noticed behavior similar to this as well. I did find that using this approach outlined by Doug Hennig on the foxwiki seemed to fix it - http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~TransparentLabelsBoldedDuringScreenUpdates~VFP Unfortunately, MM VFP still has framework level code (sethighlightbar, for example) that doesn't use the LockScreen function in utility.prg. I have sent this information to Kevin M. for potential inclusion if he decides to do a VFP 9 release.

>I'm sure I'm not the only one to have noticed this, but there is some really ugly bleeding of text when ClearType is enabled. That is, the text appears much fatter than it should be. In some cases the text starts out looking OK, and as you refresh the form it suddenly gets blobby looking.
