is a comfortable version for vfp. it is based on zLib and compiled into a vfp fll.
There are some vfp wrappers and forms included, already with hooks to show progress to the user.
The vfp source code is included for easy enhancements if needed.
There is a small license cost for the developer [runtime is free] - and you will save at least an hour, if you need a progress form, so it should be worth it. There is a free trial AFAIK. I switched over to this library after the first customer wanted visual feedback. I also work on a package where an older version of dynazip is used: dynazip is more powerful, but they are not even using it to the potentials given with the library from dfpug. Worth looking into.
Disclaimer: I only added a few touches to creating an information packed screen with the callback functions, no financial ties, but I know most of the other people involved.
