I yhink I figured it out. My comparative anatomy professor once anointed me a "master of the obvious".

When my projects include the 6.0 MSComctlLib.ImageListCtrl.2, I need to check the Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2 (6.0).

I have not yet rebuilt my SETUP. Probably I could check them all - but my Yankee ways prohibit it!:-) Is this it?
