If your focusing on the Design Pattern book, I have a recomendation for you. AT my workplace there's a bunch of java development going on. There was thought for awhile that my group might want to participate so we started a java self study group.

I selected the textbox. I found a really interesting book by a group called Headfirst published thru O'reilly. Headfirst was started by a group of folks who got really interested in cognitive theory. They did a bunch of studying of cognitive theory as relates to adult learning. They create books with this in mind. In addition to the Java book we used, I've purchased their Design Patterns book. I highly, highly recommend it.

Even though it's based on Java, it's Java in it's basic form, so it will be almost identical in C#.
