ActiveX controls in VFP
Title:
Mabry's FTP/X control
Anyone using the Mabry FTP/X control? If so, can you list the support files required for an Installshield setup routine?
In what folders are you installing what files?
Any DLL Hell issues?
Can i install the noted ADVAPI32.DLL, OLE32.DLL, OLEAUT32.DLL in my program folder instead of a windows/system folder?

From the Mabry website:
As a light ActiveX control/COM Object, FTP/X doesn't require any bulky MFC DLLs to run. Your web-based applications (VBScript, ASP, etc.) will download faster, your installation package will be smaller, and you'll have no problems with different versions of DLLs on your users' systems. And, because it's both an ActiveX control and COM Object, FTP/X will run in Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Internet Explorer, Delphi and any other environment that supports either ActiveX controls or COM objects.
And this:
The newer "light" versions of the controls (signified by the /X in the name) use the ATL model and require the following:
ADVAPI32.DLL -- 4.70.1215 -- Date 10/96
OLE32.DLL -- 2.1 -- Date 11/96
OLEAUT32.DLL -- 2.20.4118 Date 5/97
