>>Well even a seemingly benign or nutural character can be bad in some setting. Such as lack of height is neither good or bad normally, but in basket ball it is undesirable and consider a bad characteristic. When was the last time a 6'0" player got drafted. They usually don't last long in the NBA. Heck even 6'6" is consider short, unless you have skills of Michael Jordan.
>Brevin Knight - Bobcats - 5'10" - 2nd in assists, 5th in steals, 1st in assist/turnover ratio last year
>Chuck Atkins - Lakers - 5'11" - averaged 13.6 points - started all 82 games last year
>Earl Boykins - Nuggets - 5'5" - averaged 14.2 points - 2nd in free throw %age - 6th man of the year candidate last year
>Damon Stoudamire - Blazers - 5'10" - averaged 15.8 points - highest paid point guard in the league last year.
>There are others too. Sure they aren't in the majority, but they aren't as much of a rarity as some would believe. In the past there were guys like 5'9" Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy and 5'3" Tyrone (Muggsy) Bogues.
I never said there weren't exceptions. But in general, lack of height is considered bad or at least a handicap in NBA.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
