>Hi all,

>1) How easy is it to create SQL databases? Need any special training?
Not necessarily. If wanted to be a Database Administrator, maybe. If you know SQL commands then it is similar with SQL Server commands.
>2) What will be the SQL database extension? Is it still .DBF?
SQL Server Database contains tables but are encapsulated into one file.
>3) Do I need to purchase a copy of MS SQL package to be installed
> before I can start my development in VFP5?
Yes, because SQL Server is totally a separate package. SQL server normally sits on a powerful server with NT as NOS.
>4) ....many...many...more.
>Anyone kind enough to provide me with these informations?
>Thank you in advance.
Using SQL Server as your data storage other than VFP means you are exploiting the idea of Client/Server technology.
