Remember the Domino Theory? If one country falls to communism then all the nations that surround it will also be communist. That is why we went into Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Central America and the Caribbean region.

It seems we have a Domino Theory at work in the Middle East. If one nation falls to democracy then all the nations that surround it will also be democratic. Time will tell.

Why have we had and continue to have so many acts of violence in Iraq? Violence in the United States, Spain and England leaves concern for when our turn will come again. Has Pandora’s Box been opened? It might have opened anyway sooner or later.

We have a bull by the tail and dare not let go.
