Thanks for your help but that didn't seem to work. I am trying to get one VFP application to fire an event in another. I've done it via VBA by issuing a SendKeys command, which worked fine.

I could use an event timer to check for a file on disk, but timers have peculiar effects on my combo controls. Maybe VFP6 will fix that.

Any other ideas?
