Yes this works - thank you. The mysterious thing is that when I put it the other way around, it doesn't work although STORE TO should be the same as equals!

I have another similar which is just the command

thisform.resultline1.txtPatientNotes.SetFocus

which resists my efforts so far at breaking it down into component pieces and putting it back together again.
