Okay. But the idea I had was to modify GenScrn in such a manner that when it is assigning a random name using SYS() it will also replace the snippet memo with #NAME . This will only happen if there is no #NAME directive present. If already present GetCName() uses this instead, so the next time round this snippet will have the name that was assigned the first time the screen was generated.

Please advise.
