While many of the enhancements are geared towards people coming into .NET for the first time (to make the learning curve easier than it was for 2002-2003), there are many new features that experienced .NET developers will appreciate.

For instance, the CR.NET designer that's bundled with VS.NET *FINALLY* supports previewing. So I don't need to use the stand-alone CR designer for previewing. This was always a pain. While it was a huge omission in 2003, I'm very glad it's in now.
