Sorry for the confusion, I am attempting to add record to a table in a DBC from a text file and generating a unique key in the DEFAULT property of the field. What I am getting is the DEFAULT property is not triggering and then a primary key violation with the second record append.

Any ideas???

> How about using INSERT INTO, in a loop? I haven't tried it but since it's adding a single record at a time your triggers should fire.
