i'm currently writing an SQLExecEx function which will be able to pass your SQL to the backend .. i've not written it for this special purpose since it has more tweaks than the normal SQLEXEC function e.g. use of a cursorschema, support for capturing PRINT statements in long running SQL Server stored procedures ...

i'll gonna upload a development release including it first - it's already stable, but since there are so many code path's - about 1400 lines of C code
for this functionality - i'm almost sure someone finds a non working datatype conversion or other minor misbehaviour.

it may also solve the problem you described in the thread "disable automatic rollback" since it never calls transaction handling functions for sure.
