I've worked in IVR environments and I've never run into a
modern IVR system that can't link to any database through
ODBC.
I use the word "modern" because most of the older IVR systems
were proprietary and you had to use the IVR vendor's selected
database.
Even AT&T\Lucent, which develop highly proprietary solutions,
can access most databases.
