>I'm looking for a good book to recommend to people who don't know much about VFP, but have some programming experiene with VB. I looked around and couldn't find anything that really is a beginner FoxPro book. Any ideas?
Eric. I suggest you also get the gist of a simple application development process. Copy the following to the web address area of your favorite browser, or click on:
http://tinyurl.com/c4kb2At the bottom of the page there are three video sessions to learn VFP at the 101 level. There is also source code there. Further, if you want to download the file in SDF format, you can check out the comments link. One of the entries there has the place where you can get the actual files which you can then play at your leisure even when disconnected from the Web.
Best regards.
