(I don't konw whether you got my solution for your problem and so I have posted the
message again).

I had the same problem with my 8" long form on a EPSON dot matrix printer. I think
I can give you the solution:

The problem starts with the printer's print head's position when the paper is loaded. When I feed paper on my dot matrix the printhead positions at 0.5" and the printing starts from there. So there is 0.5" gap on my report which is not designed in my report designer. The form's length is 8" and so the printing goes upto next pages 0.5" and print something on the next page also. To solve this, What I did, I designed my report to have more than 0.5" empty space at page footer and that solved the problem.

When this was solved in my office, it was not solved in my client's office. Because
their printer had a different starting print postion, I went and adjusted using the DIP
switches (EPSON printer).

I think you also will have to see the starting print position of your printer's print head, accordingly you will have to change the paper loading using the dip switches OR
have the report designed to have more gap in pagefooter.

please email whether this solves your problem. thanks,
