>Rabbit ears? No wonder! The only good indoor type antenna I've ever heard anything good about mounts on the wall or in your attic. It looks like a stick, and there are several maufacturers. They're about $50.

What I've read though about having the antenna indoors, at least for digital, is that even just the plywood and shingles of the roof will cut the signal by about 50%.
