Hi, Hilmar.

>>I join Hilmar to congratulates Martin on his (not-so-new) position. Martin was already doing it for the UTMag.

>>As some may know, I have a monthly column (mainly covering Windows Application in VB) in the current UT-Mag and I will be moved to LE.Net. If anyone want to suggest topics, you are more then welcome. I often have hard time finding a topic.

Thanks a lot for the congratulations!

Regarding your needs, I think there is a lot of great content online ike tutorials and the like. Indeed, there is something pretty good for beginners in Spanish called the Desarrollador 5 Estrellas (5 Star Developer Program) which is a full course online in 5 stages, at first as self-training and then in groups with an assigner instructor, everything free and online, courtesy of MSDN Latam.

For VFP developers, Kevin McNeish's book is online for free and reachable from the VFP home page, and I think it is one of the best possible resources.

My intention for Level Extreme .NET is to target more intermediate and advance topics, trying to cover some things that are not abundant elsewhere, like general architectual ideas and guidelines (nor for Architects, but for developers needing to know that), development methodologies, important tools supporting certain processes like code generation, domain-specific languages, configuration, etc.

I'll try also to include content showing how many things that are considered "advanced" or "sophisticated" can be done by everyone by choosing the right resources, like tools or libraries and even guides and samples. I mean things like NDoc, NAnt, SharpDevelop, NMock, Spring .Net, Microsoft Enterprise Library, etc.

Of course this won't be a very serious or boring magazine. I try to promote authors that have ideas and nice examples to show all the time, and my bet is that every developer could get at least one interesting and valuable idea from any issue.

Best regards,
