Everybody has some preferences and is free to recomend what he likes.
But there is real test done by Gartner & IDC, which show that for bussiness need in some areas MS SQL Server is faster. But I will not use it if I have to implement police solution which have to find criminal in Milion of Pictures or fingerprints
