If he proves that sql server breaks then what does he do with the proof. Does he not publish it?
I need to make a recommendation and in order to make sure that I have covered every angle I need to be sure whether SQL server is up to the job for a third party enterprise level db application which contains some shockingly badly written/optimised code. I can't recommend not using Oracle on the basis that a guy on the internet said his brother (who happens to work for Oracle and is therefore not impartial) said that he'd tested SQL server and that it was cr4p.
I have yet to come across anyone anywhere who can back up their assertion that sql server is unsuitable at enterprise level with any hard evidence.
