I have narrowed this down to when changing the value of a field in the view, in this instance it's a logical field, changing it from the original value of .F. to .T., when I then try to browse the contents of the view, I get the Connectivity Error and can't browse. I change the value back to .F. and then all is well again.

We do have in our System Manager an option to rebuild the fox views and the client says that they have done that (although no support person has actually seen this happen), but yet the problem still exists. This an updatable view to a SQL Server database table.

Mike,
Are you sure it happens changing logical field only? Doesn't it happen if you change another updatable field? Sounds like a coincidence to me. Probably there were a real disconnection (or connection limit).
