Did I miss something during the past year? Wasn't the Paskitani Dr. A.Q. Khan found guilty of selling nuclear weapons related technologies to Libya and North Korea? Didn't Libya admit to purchasing? I thought North Korea denied it but there was sufficient evidence. The Pakistani government admitted that its nuclear scientists engaged in clandestine nuclear transfers to Iran, North Korea, and Libya during 1989-2003. Did something change in that evidence and I missed it?

>>>>The difference, as you WELL KNOW, is that none of the above mentioned countries, publicly announced that their goal is to wipe another country off the face of the world.
>>
>>>Has North Korea ever stated that?... Not that I'm aware of.
>>
>>>In other words, the "selectivity" of which country is OK and which is not is up to who?
>>It would seem reasonable that those countries wanting to deprive others of nuclear reactors for fear of making bombs ought themselves to be working at eliminating their own nuclear bombs.
>>We know that will never happen. There's just something wrong with the whole picture as things are now.
>>
>>Those North Koreans are sneaky. :)
>>Their goal is to a unified Korea. The method? Well, need I say more? And they've been known to sell nuke material to other "hostile" groups as well.
>
>Agreed that they are sneaky. And I have the impression, possibly mistaken, that a unified Korea is a goal of both north and south.
>As regards selling of nuke materials to other countries, it does seem really doubtful to me, given that they haven't enough, supposedly, for but a cou[pla weapons for themselves. I know that Korean shipments of non-nuke weapons have been siezed from ships, but that's entirely different.
>
>By the way, something I wouldn't have said 5 years ago is that 'those Americans are sneaky', since the Iraq war justification.
>
>cheers
