DBF is a flat structure with fixed block ( record ) size,
then you have 3 way only, in order of preference:
1. to redesign all for to remove this necessity to insert record in physical positions
3. to remove the indexes and the RI, to apply INSERT and to recreate the indexes and the RI
4. to use copy,zap append : a very slow way.
