At the system level we work at anyone that does not have the ability to "invent" a VFP application that mimics pre-existing applications
al' dente would [probably] not know what to do with a decompiled program. I don't know what decompiled script looks like - but I wager it's hard to read.
It takes a lot longer to figure out what someone else wrote than it does to write it from scratch, right? And then there's the market experience and the customers and the legal issues if someone was caught with a fraudulent copyright.
It doesn't make sense to decompile someone elses stuff with the intent to repackage the copyright from an economic or legal perspective.
Look - they're selling you "decompile fear". Remember "VFP is dead fear"? You can't blame refox for shopping the "decompile boogey man" market. It's their job. Just don't buy into it.
Anything - regardless of safegards - can be cracked - period.
Fret not my friend, it's a non-issue!
