How can I ignore script errors that come up when navigating to a URL in the Web Browser Active-X control?

When navigating to the URL directly via IE, the "error on page" icon does display but does not prevent the page from loading. Unfortunately, the web browser control throws up an ugly "Internet Explorer Script Error" dialog that prevents the page from loading.

I have the "display notification about every script error" setting in IE turned off. I also have nodefault in the error method of the control.
