That status message always shows the current workarea record status, it really doesn't have anything todo with cbos in particular. I think it's just coincidental in the case you cite below.

Sergey pointed out that this is VFP bug that goes unfixed from version to version. Is it possible to fix it for SEDNA? It is just driving me crazy. In my forms I made sure to put statusbar text for evey control (even labels) to overcome this bug. But I really should not do that.
