The "what do we do now" issue is completely separate from the "how we got here" issue, and to use it as a means of absolving someone of wrongdoing or to divert attention from the latter issue is simply a red herring.
As to the truly great things that are happening, what would that be?

Does undoing the Iraq war, presumably letting Saddam go and take back control of the country sound like the right thing to do? After thinking about all of this, I've realized the best thing to do is understand and appreciate the truly great things that are happening as a result of what has already happened.
