If you notice the answers from officials they are declining to comment, as opposed to denying knowledge. I don't think these prisons were all that secret. Certainly not the one in Guantanamo bay which the article refers to.
But my bigger point is, let the prisons serve their purpose. (not abuse of course) In fact now I would also like to know who's been captured and what is happening to them, but for reasons unrelated to democratic rights of the people or humanitarian..
