Just so i understand, you're comparing the lies marketed to us by this administration, that got us into the Iraq debacle, with that of the Santa clause story told to kids? You're killing me.

Have you ever told them something for their own good that was not true? Santa? Why is this whole lying thing for the better good such a big deal? I would think cheating on your wife would be a bigger deal as it addresses directly the morality, but as soon as we believe someone lied, all hell breaks loose. I think it's funny really. Don't you think every politician lies? I find it comforting that maybe this one did because he felt it was in the interest of democracy and freedom, as opposed to creatively smoking cigars.
