I don't remember the official propaganda going too deep with the analysis sold to the public. Too long to fit the sound bites. I had the misfortune to be alone in the car during the State of the Nation 2003, on a long trip, so I heard it all. And I remember that the logic that was used to sell the war could just be applied to the US as well, if the same looseness with the facts was allowed.
